Being in your mid 20’s it is essential that you start using a serum in your routine. There are many serums available in the market. One of the ones I daily use are the Elizabeth Arden capsules, however they are quite heavy on your purse so I have been looking for a cheaper alternative. The Body Shop Vitamin-C Facial Radiance Capsule come in a glass jar. One jar contains 28 capsules for approx £6.00
These capsules come in a tear drop shape. Each capsule has enough for one time use. Usually with the Elizabeth Arden capsules, I use one capsule 2 times but with these, I found there was more than enough for one time use but not enough for two times unless you apply sparingly.
The serum is soft velvety texture, that is spread easily on the face. It can feel a little bit oily on the skin so I prefer to wear it at night time. However it acts like a good primer as well. I sometimes use a little bit under my foundation to give it a nice glow.
As for the radiance factor, I would say that the capsules when applied does give you a nice glow. This only lasts for the use of the capsules in my opinion, so it’s short term radiance.
- Easy to apply
- Works well as a primer
- Leaves your skin feeling soft and velvety
- Gives enough coverage that I don’t need to apply a moisturiser on top
I don’t think it’ll be suitable for people with oily skin.
